On the journey deeper into the self, it is all too easy to fall into nihilism. That is because the self is like an ocean filled with hydrogen — the deeper you go, the greater the pressure, suffocating and heavy. But when we surface again, we might just see a sunset, or a pouring, cleansing rain. Because that is how we live — emptying the room, letting the light in.
